Construction:
The bucket hat is worked from the top down.
The crown is worked in a continuous spiral. After that, the straight section with cherries is worked back and forth in rows. Each row ends with a slip stitch, but you do not turn with a chain stitch. Instead, the first single crochet of the next row is worked directly into the slip stitch from the previous row. Finally, the brim is worked in a spiral again, just like the top of the hat.

For all three sizes, work rounds 1 through 12 as written. From round 13 onward, each size follows its own instructions.
